Pacific Rim Enterprises begins the deep draw stamping process with sheet steal that we receive as a coil in a pre-specified width and thickness. This raw material is very tightly tolerance to plus or minus 0.0002 inches. We uncoil the coiled steel and feed it into a specific transfer press which depends on the size and shape of the final part we need to manufacture. We cut-out a flat round or shaped blank, which is then transferred to the next station that will take the flat blank and place it over a shaped punch to draw the flat metal over a die—this creates a formed shape.
Pacific Rim Enterprises will work with you throughout the process. In the next stages, various press-forming operations are used to develop the final part configuration based on your engineering specifications.
